I've been to a lot of different countries (Spain, Argentina, South Africa, Japan, etc) and I loved every single one of them.
We are choosing a country to go to on family vacation (mom dad little brother who is 14) and I get to choose. I want to go someplace that people don't normally go to but still has rich culture and history.
I am really interested in Middle Eastern cultures, but it can be anywhere! Thanks for your input...

I would recommend China, and not Beijing or Hong Kong, go to some random place, that's where you see there real beauty of China. The lily pads ll over the place are breathtaking and you will literally lose you breath when you see the view from the top of a mountian in China. There are so many beautiful plants, you'll be shocked. In parks and stuff, you'll see people practicing tai chi and meditating, and most of the architecture is very classical chinese. And China, of course, has a very rich culture.
And the food......oh man. The best ever. And everything's cheap too. About 8 yuan is equal to a dollar, so your family can have a lobster dinner for $20. So cool.

My family and I went to Italy last summer. It was sooooooooo awesome. We went with a tour called Insight Tours. If you go with this tour, you travel all through Italy. You get to see everything in like 2 weeks. Seriously everything! You learn a lot about history and culture. You should go, it was a lot of fun.

I highly recommend the west coast of Ireland. It's so beautiful it hurts. Kilarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula, stone fences, Celtic ruins. Incredible.

Finland sure has some culture and history. And if you can't make it to finland, just go to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and you'll get a similar experiance, except we speak english instead of finnish.
