What are the stereotypes for people who like this kind of music?
Is it mainly popular in the UK or also in the US??

They have been popular for years!
"Alternative" rock music, very talented fellows.
The stereotype is people who know good music when they hear it.
Popular in the UK and the US.

1. They really are more pop than alt. rock, but it does draw influences from it. Its in a modern pop-rock genre, i guess.
2. Stereotypes? idk, i like them, and i don't really think that the ppl who like popular rock are stereotyped other than being too mainstream. i know i'm definitely not.
3. Right now, i'm pretty sure its popular in both, but my radio station stopped playing The Killers songs a while ago, so it was definitely much bigger a couple years ago or so.

They're pretty popular here in the UK
And stereotypically they'd come under alt, rock and indie I guess.

i would just call it alternative rock?
i dont really know
but they've been around for a while and lots of people like them
if you REALLY wanna know how popular tey are just see how much the sell there concert tickets for. =]

I would say they are just getting well known in the uk-

sorry, i don't do scenes or categories. i like track. i don't care if their from the 70's or from the former day. if i like it, i like it. i by no capacity have and by no capacity will pass with the flow or with what's flavour of the month perfect now.

i like them!! usually popular with the students and student age. indie/rock i would say.
