I'm newly married, and my husband is my first and only sex partner (clarifying cause it'd sound like a silly question otherwise). Of course, at first we kept sex pretty gentle and mellow, while my body adjusted. I enjoyed sex, but for the most part, I couldn't really feel all that much. (Don't get me wrong, he's well endowed and great in bed). My body had pretty much adjusted to the whole sex thing, so we started getting a little rough. Then one time every little thing he did hurt. We tried switching positions and adjusting and everything...then after adjusting a bit, when he thrusted inside me again, it hurt REALLY freakin' bad. Of course he immediately stopped, and we called it a night (what a guy:'). The pain went away, and I was fine the next day/night. Now ever since then, I can feel so much more during sex, get physically turned on a lot easier, and have orgasms a lot easier. I'm definitely not complaining but I'm just curious...what the heck happened???

He might have hit your cervix. Did the pain come from inside your vagina?? If so, it's likely your cervix. My husband will hit mine if he's getting too "rough" and boy it hurts!!! Just tell him to take it easy and not to thrust too hard..

did your hymen break when you guys first had sex? I don't mean to overshare, but a lot of women~me included~had their hymen form farther up than average. It's possible that the first few times you and your husband had sex, he simply wasn't thrusting hard enough/deep enough to break it. it sounds weird, but it happens, believe me!

first i just want to say...how do you know he is well endowed and great in bed when you never been with another? just thought that was funny.... as for you pain, get to the dr. sex is not supposed to be painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if you married you shouldn't have a problem acting like an adult and going and talking to the doc.

He could have hit your cervix or hit something in you the wrong way.
