Haha! Kobe fanatics... I do not consider myself a hater cause I admire Kobe's ofensive arsenal and Buzzer-beating tanacity, but I like to answer your Kobe to other teams scenario. Remember that this is my own perspective, so respect my opinion haters, fanatics. Here we go:
Kobe to Cleveland: If Kobe went to cleveland he would probably play SF like James since they already have Larry Hughes. Like James he would do the passing and score for the team when needed. But Cleveland is not that a powerhouse team. Miami is still at it, Chicago is an up and coming team, Detroit is a constant force. So with a Zydrunas Ilgauskas already on a decline and with an inconsistent Drew Gooden play Kobe by his lonesome again would have to carry the team which don't seem to work cause he needs another all-star to get him going the next level.
Kobe to Miami: The reunion of Kobe and Shaq. It is still easy to say that although on the decline Shaq still commands respect from opposing teams. Kobe well the best player now. So here we go again same Laker scenario of love-hate relationship between the two All-star. Have to say this though the Lakers should have won in 2004 if not for the Sahq and Kobe feud. Definitely would not work for the team's advantage.
Kobe to the Suns: Yeah ok the best player playing for the most exciting team in the league right now. But remember that this was possible because of Nash's passing. Kobe ain't a PG. Nash unleashed the potential of every player there in Phoenix because of his wonderful delivery game after game. Although Kobe may be the best right now he would be a tight fit there in Phoenix. D' Antoni needs a fuel to oil their fastbreak machine and Nash is THAT fuel.
So where do Kobe fit? The LAkers where he is considered the undisputed King. To quote a player from Minnesota when asked if he thinks Garnett would jump ship: He is the king here, why leave his kingdom and go another when he rules here?

Kobe is the best basketball player in the league now. He is the best offensive player hands down. He is also one of the best defensive players at his position.
Kobe would not win a championship if he was exchanged for wade or james. The team would have a great chance at making the finals in the east. However, the west is stacked with very deep teams.
If Kobe went to the Suns for Nash they would have a very good chance at winning it all. Saying that Barbosa, Kobe, Marion, Stoudemire, and Diaw were the starting lineup with Bell as the 6th man. But, that is never going to happen.
The better question is: Where is Kobe going to end up and what are the Lakers going to do to make Kobe happy?
Most likely he will stay in Los Angeles because he sells tickets. The Lakers will try to trade Odom and Bynum for whatever is on the market, but probably wont because neither of their stocks are that high anymore. Too little too late to get Kidd.
The Lakers are in better shape already this season than last though-
PG- They are getting rid of Parker who is inconsistant and isnt worth the attitude. They bring in a Crittenton(Nice size for a PG), who should be better than Farmar and pick up Fisher who is an execellent veteran who can pick up important min. for a position they struggled with.
SG- Kobe will be there enough said.
SF- They resign Walton, who at times last year showed some promise. Durability is an issue and if he can perform at a high level. Evans can play some SF, but is more of a SG. This is their weakest position on the team.
PF- Odom is a great PF. Does it all. Only problem is that Odom is not very quick, but gives them a threat in the post and can also shoot outside. A good player, but it would be best if they could trade him for a more athletic 4 or 3.
C- Brown, Bynum, and Mihm. Hopefully Brown and Bynum develop into solid players or the Lakers are doomed for another disapointing season.
Bottom line- The Lakers have improved from last year. However they are still far from dominating the West. Look for Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix to dominate the west. Denver, Utah, and Golden State are at about the same level as L.A.

What are you even asking? If Kobe went to any of these teams instead of or in addition to the players mentioned?
Kobe's ego would preclude him winning a championship on any of those team with the top player mentioned there. If the top player left, with the exception of PHO, there wouldn't be enough ball.
One of the key reasons San Antonio has done so well over the past few years is because several different people can score 20 points on any given night. Also those players don't appear to care who is going to be the "star" of the team. Put Kobe in SA and he sends the team into decline.
The only person who's hatin' is Kobe: he hates to give anyone else the ball or the limelight.

There is no doubt that Kobe is a great basketball player. I mean top 3 in the league and definitely top 50 all time. However, us as fans have the right to not like a person. His ego out weighs his talent. If I was a GM, I would much rather deal with Nash, James, Wade then I have to deal with Kobe.

If you swap Kobe with any of those players you would have the same result, I don't think Kobe is better than Nash, James, or Wade. He is eqaul in terms of production and each players role is a bit different (especially Nash) to their teams success.
The only player or players I can see Kobe winning with are players like Duncan, Shaq (in his prime) or possibly Yao Ming (when healthy). Kobe has shown that he can't win without a dominating center to clean up the mess.
Kobe needs a lot of shots, so he needs a player like Shaq or Duncan to get rebounds and score big without the need to shoot to many shots. Duncan and Shaq score at a high percentage almost every night. Meaning all they need is about 15 shots to score 20 or more points while also grabbing 10-15 rebounds and keeping people out of the paint. Kobe needs 20-25 shots and 10 freethrows to get his 30 points, so everyone has to get theirs with limited shots.
It's the only way I have seen Kobe Bryant win, and it's the only way I think he ever sniffs another title is if he gets another player of or close to that caliber. He needs a dominating inside presence to win championships.

If you mean that Kobe joins one of these teams as they already exist with their current stars, then it is likely they could win a championship.
If Kobe was swapped for these other players, then there is no real improvement, so they wouldn't have a greater chance to win it.
Look at the lakers with Shaq, Malone, Payton, and Kobe. They fell apart. having more superstars doesn't guarantee a ring.
Sorry.

Actually, it's not about how good the players around you are.
Definitely, if you're in the NBA that means you are good.
What i want to say is, you need players who have the most extreme passion to play, not just players who play for money, but players who play for the games of their lives.
As for Kobe's team 06-07, they s*ck.
And i mean it.
They don't step up because they think Kobe can handle everything.
Now, with Fisher and Mihm back, i say that they would give a more deep roster to the Lakers organization.
Given that.
Kobe doesn't need a trade right now. =)

Kobe is the best basketball player in the game because he has no flaws. So if you take the best player in the world and swap him with sloppy 2nds and 3rds, then of course the team that Kobe Bryant is playing for is going to be an improvement

kobe is probably the best bball player right now. but the teams that you just mentioned already have superstars on them. how could he not win a ring in those places. he can get one in LA cuz he has no support, but in in NY or on some other bad team-no chance. you can't just say he is good cuz he could win a ring with another superstar. would he have won w/o O'neil
