Indian weathers are so well suited for lizards.

What to do when we actually confront them ? There arent any sprays available & we cant squash them like bugs..So how does one get rid of them ? Do Egg shells help ?-its an old wives tale, said to repel them...probably not though..

You can try to keep them out by blocking any entrances into your home. Lizards are excellent climbers so they often get in through windows. If they get into the house, corner them and scoop them up into a box or empty coffee can - be sure to cover it! Then let them out somewhere away from the house. Having larger predators such as a cat or dog in the house should keep them away as well.

Why would you not want lizards around? They eat bugs. And, having geckos in your house in some Pacific Island and Oceanic countries is considered good luck.

I suppose you could get a cat or small dog. I had a cat once who only ate lizards (wouldn't go after birds or mice). But, I don't know of any repellant or "reptilicide" that you could use.

Get a cat or just catch them and take them outside. I have a ton of lizards they don't bother me, they keep the bug population down.
