I don't usually do the astrology thing, so I'll google it, and let you decide.
Aquarius:
The Water Carrier
Friendly and humanitarian
Honest and loyal
Original and inventive
Independent and intellectual
Intractable and contrary
Perverse and unpredictable
Unemotional and detached
"Aquarians basically possess strong and attractive personalities. They fall into two principle types: one shy, sensitive, gentle and patient; the other exuberant, lively and exhibitionist, sometimes hiding the considerable depths of their character under a cloak of frivolity. Both types are strong willed and forceful in their different ways and have strong convictions, though as they seek truth above all things, they are usually honest enough to change their opinions, however firmly held, if evidence comes to light which persuades them that they have been mistaken. They have a breadth of vision that brings diverse factors into a whole, and can see both sides of an argument without shilly-shallying as to which side to take. Consequently they are unprejudiced and tolerant of other points of view. This is because they can see the validity of the argument, even if they do not accept it themselves. They obey the Quaker exhortation to "Be open to truth, from whatever source it comes," and are prepared to learn from everyone...
...They are nearly always intelligent, concise, clear and logical. Many are strongly imaginative and psychically intuitive...
...Normally they have good taste in drama, music and art, and are also gifted in the arts, especially drama..."
etc., etc.
I don't know, maybe some of it sounds like me. It's all a little to general, and could apply to about anyone, to be honest.

I'm a Piscean,...
... though I'm not all that sure as to how well my personality matches up with my sign.
I also happen to be a Dragon,...

The Chinese Zodiac is a tricky one for, as you well know, the Chinese New Year begins on a day some time between late January and mid-February.
I was born in March, and missed being a Rabbit by a mere 3 weeks!....:-))

It makes no sense (unless you think of tides and suchlike), but it does. Of course I live with an astrologer. And all the astrological horoscopes of my family tie into mine, too. No wonder I love 'em - especially the Libran, the Gemini, the Leo - and the twin Sagitarians. Well, I'm an easy feller.

I am a Libra, and a poor excuse for one by all accounts. The Libran scales indicate a balance, and while I have a intact sense of fairness, I am proudly unbalanced in my life. Maybe why I don't believe in it at all. That's OK Son, we don't have to agree on everything.

I don't have the foggiest idea if my sign matches my personality. I don't follow horoscopes. I'm anal; fun-loving but initially shy; direct; highly cautious; introverted; sensitive. I'm born within the first 9 days of April...
You tell me if I match?!
Ok; I just Googled Aries. I do not fit that match at all!

I don't believe it is such a black and white question, neither yes or no. If you want my opinion, I'd say at least 70% of characteristics are relative. But it seems as if astrology applies to most people.

I was born on the change of Aquarius and Pisces, and both fit so I've decided to become a Leo, just out of spite.

It's pretty close. I'm a Leo. Outgoing, always must be the center of attention, aggressive, flirtatious, driven, passionate, etc.
I've mellowed though. Not quite so eager to always be the center of attention.
