I am looking for some ideas on how to make a nice/unique house/street number for the front exterior wall of my house. Any ideas appreciated.

You could paint it onto the wall, maybe illustrating the letters, with flowers and things.
You could also get som outdoor fairy lights and shape it out of them.
It would take a while, but you could trim/train a plant into the numbers
You could get some nice tiles and stick them on n the right shapes.
You could have it shaped out of willow or wire twigs together in the right shape.
You might be able to make it out of bits of pipe and guttering, depending on the number
Or you could employ a kid to stand there and hold a sign!

I have seen magazine articles in which they show making a wooden box with a glass front and a fluorescent lamp inside. You then fasten those large cutout letters onto the front glass. When it is illuminated at night it shows up the number very well (and it looks good in daylight too.).

Make them legible. Artsy fartsy house numbers drive the police and fire fighters nuts. And they are not legal in some places.

You can have a nice one made from Marble. They look really nice , I say that because I have one .

you could cut them out of wood..........Or get a pretty piece of wood and paint the numbers on.
