If you mean: 5 / (3/10), then: 5 / (3/10) = 5 * 10/3 = 50/3 = 16 2/3.
(But if you mean: (5/3) / 10, then: (5/3) /10 = 5 / (3*10) = 5 / 30 = 1/6.)

you can turn 5 into a fraction like 5/1divided by 3/10 and you switch the divided sign to a mutliply and switch the denomernator with the nomernator (second number which is 3/10 into 10/3) and just multiply those to. 5/1x10/3= 50/3= 16.666666=16.67 (tadaaa)

Presuming you mean 5/(3/10)
Forget division. Multiply by the reciprocal. A reciprocal of a number is the number by which you multiply the first number to get 1. So the reciprocal of 4 is 1/4 because (4)(1/4)=1. 3/4 is the reciprocal of 4/3 because (3/4)(4/3)=1. (2x-5)/(3-2x) and (3-2x)/(2x-5) are reciprocals.
The reciprocal of 3/10 is 10/3.
Now, multiply 5/1 and 10/3 and you get?

It depends how the question looks- Here are two possible solutions:
If it reads as :
5 / (3/10)
5/.3 = 16.66 (repeating)
If the problem reads as
5/ 3/10 ..... with no parenthesis, then you have to solve it from left to right as you would read a sentence:
5/3= 1.6666666 / 10 = 0.16666666 (repeating)
