"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." (Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton - June 28, 2004, in San Francisco at a Democrat Party fundraiser)

"I want to take those profits and put them into an alternative energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy alternatives that will actually begin to move us toward the direction of independence." Hillary was talking about the additional tax cuts that Bush gave to the richest 1% in the country.

Bush gives millions in subsidies to already profitable in the billions oil corporations and you worry about subsidies to alternative energy that will get us off our dependency on oil?

Um, It sounds like Hilalry is an adult that behaves like an adult and understands the meaning of diplomacy. Something most Americans with that Bush knew something about on both accounts.

And, I can guarantee Hillary is not a socialist. She is a capitalist. The only socialist in office today is Bernie Sanders of Vermont who runs as an Independent.

No, but they will be happy when you learn to spell "liberal" and "socialism".

The first statement seems to be a little fallacious. The rest of them seem to be justifying the use of money for the common good, which would be what are country was partially based off of.

I will not starve without the tax cuts. I am well off now, I am not greedy.

OMG, you mean she actually has a plan to help give us energy independence from the Arabs who now control our energy supply. How dare she!

What is so bad about the last quote? Sorry I can't understand con logic.

We have socialism right now and have since at least the 1930s. Things are pretty good here aren't they? Capitalism is good, but a completely free economic system doesn't work. How would we defend ourselves (maintain a military), maintain fire departments, and public water supply, and have police without some socialism?

So far I've never seen them get happy about anything, so I doubt it. Yes, she is a die hard socialist!

Liberals can be happy as long as they can blame conservatives, rich old white men, and Big Corporations for all the country's problems. Well, not happy, actually, but in thier comfort zone.
