the "E" on the end defines the year 1978 in the DT line, and by looking for parts, it appears they (Yamaha) skipped a few years in making the 100cc DT from 78 thru 80 ... at least in the USA.

can you edit your question by adding what year model your bike is please????

got to bike bandit and look for parts in 77 (D) and 81 (H) but nothing for the '78, '79 or '80

are you sure it's an E??? might look over in the European/Asian parts sites...

There's no reason a drum brake would get tighter from just sitting.
The axle and wheel bearings are probably rusted.
Common problem on bikes that have been left out in the elements forever.
Try to get the axle out (hammer it).
You might have to cut the axle with a hacksaw blade.
Only cut it as a last resort and make sure you have one to replace it.
