No it is not just you, Brad Childress both sucks and blows as a coach. Not quite as bad as Mike Tice since Tice actually murdered a player by not monitoring Korey Stringer when Stringer was on Tice's offensive line, but Childress still sucks. Childress is designed to suck as a coach, so the Vikings ownership can drive fans away to be able to move the team to Los Angeles (see Cleveland Browns and Houston Oilers). Your team has no quarterback, so you draft a running back even though you spent a fortune last year in free agency on a good running back (easy to see why Antoine Winfield held out).

Long story short, he took a team that Mike Tice had finally built into a playoff contender and then shot them right back into the rebuilding stage by literally dropping every decent talent they had on offense. I'm seriously beginning to think that its some kind of conspiracy to get the Vikings out of Minnesota like somebody else mentioned.
