My cell rings with the theme from the Twilight Zone so I answer it from time to time with, "Rod? Where are you? What dimension?" which makes Baby Boomers smile and younger kids look at me odd.
One of my friend's husband liked to answer "Kelly's Pool Hall" so I told him once, "I'd like to talk to the 8 ball, please." It took him back and he started stammering before he gave her the phone.

I answered it, "yeeeessss", once really drawn out and in a funny accent. One time I said," yeah" cause I was annoyed. Then the other day I answered, " hotline how can I help you?", cause the phone had been ringing off the hook that day. LOL. I can't quote the funniest thing word for word I've ever heard on here but let's just say I called my Uncle's house once and he answered with a funny business name that well isn't exactly appropriate and I thought I had the wrong number and hung up and called back. LOL.

When I was really busy in kitchen when I worked at a bar and they made me answer the phone (bartender's job, but she was lazy) I would answer it "____ County Morgue, May I help you?" I used the name of the county I was in. People couldn't hang up fast enough. They tended not to call back either (imagine that!). Of course I was caught eventually and forbidden to answer the phone again EVER (broke my heart, that). Good luck

well once i picked up and got mixed between hello and hi so i said helloy...the caller was a telemarketer and we laughed for 10 minutes together...

someone was playing on my cell phone, and it rung again and i say HEY MOTHER F***** STOP PLAYING ON MY PHONE AND IT HAPPENED TO BE MY MOM, I GOT IN SO MUCH TROUBLE
