This country seems determined to end up a nuclear pile of rubble. If America won't do the job, Israel will. Don't Persians think? Usually this kind of thinking is the realm of Arabs. That president of theirs is the biggest fool on the planet.

You've got to understand, that FIRST this isn't the doing of the Iranian people, but their administration...an administration that reports directly to fundamentalist religious Muslim leaders. They...and their senior leaders...are purposefully antagonizing the West because they see this as a religious mandate. Logic has nothing to do with it.

Why does Bush want to destroy Iran? One very simple reason: OIL and WAR PROFITEERING.
Iran is only doing what any reasonable country would do: trying to protect itself from a bully. The U.S.A. has to stop thinking in terms of its "national interests" (which should be interpreted to mean, "Why is all of OUR oil underneath Iraq and Iran's sand??").
Just as we attacked Iraq, a sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States, we will also unconstitutionally, illegally, unjustifiably and immorally attack Iran just so the OIL companies can control all that easily-accessible OIL and so mighty U.S. industrialists can get richer and richer and richer through abhorrent WAR PROFITEERING. -RKO- 07/25/07

Listening to the radio yesterday I heard that the Iranians are building settlements for people to live around or close to or on top of buried nuclear reactors. That way if the US bombs them they know at least half the people in the west will be saying the terrible Americans bombed Innocent people again. Reminds me of the cartoon of a Muslim man holding a machine gun while he is hiding behind his pregnant wife and child.

Maybe you should look at it the other way. Why does W want to reduce Iran to a pile of rubble?
In fact something different is happening. The USA and Iran are getting together to discuss how to stabilise Iraq. Admittedly it is a couple of years late but talking is going to be better than getting into another Vietnam.

I doubt that the Persian people want to be vaporized or die a slow. torturous death of radiation poisoning It's their crazy leader and government, and their power hungry plans to challenge Israel and the United States. Of course, as long as the world appeases them, they will just move closer and closer towards getting that nuclear weapons complete.

because they think it fulfills their destiny in some hocus pocus fashion.i am afraid when they discover the truth it will be too late.they think that they will take over the planet and all their martyrs and other terrorist killers will be rewarded with like 70 virgins or some such nonsense,then how sad to see how the once mighty have fallen and that believing a lie does not make it true,we will all be accountable before GOD!may he have mercy on us all.

They are trying to instigate us and Israel.
Israel is going to bomb their nuclear facilities, and that will give Iran an excuse to attack Israel...Iran will say that their nuclear program was for energy only...and that they were attacked unjustly and they had to retaliate.

And you think Bush- is much better? Iran's ONLY "power" in the World- is to make alot of noise & stir up mischief. They're relatively POOR, and they KNOW IT. So how does it make US "look" (WE- the most POWERFULL Country on EARTH), to "beat up" on a Country of veiled women??! Iran's President WILL be gone someday- JUST like ours. And HOPEFULLY, just like in OUR case- he will be REPLACED with someone half-way decent. Til THEN, we're just going to have to learn to "live with"- the noise. :)

I would say they must be bored with life and want to get blown up, instead of living a calm everyday life like most people in the world want..you know..get up, eat breakfast, kiss the family goodbye, go to work, get paid, go shopping, enjoy the evening, or open a business, make it grow become successful, etc, etc, etc,....but somehow their mentality for thousands of years is, kill, shoot, protest, cry, poor me, suicide,,oh my..
