For proof that the last decade and some of this one was the STEROID ERA is that all the HR milestones that have been broken or are ABOUT to be I know not all of them were due to Steroids but my actual question is has anyone noticed how many milestones have been broken and how many are about to be like Ken Griffey is about to get 600 and Sammy already did and Bonds enough said lol and A ROD approaching 500 and so is Thome and Frank THomas already got 500 and then Tom Glavin about to get 300 and John Smoltz 1st player with 200 W's and 150 SVes and my favorite Craig Biggio doing it the RIGHT WAY no doubt about it that goes for Ken Griffey JR to

I don't necessarily credit 'roids for all those milestones. In fact, I would like to keep believing that some of the guys you mentioned never cheated at all.

Yes, but steroids were never illegal during the era in question. Also there are more teams so the quality of pitching goes down because instead of more aces on teams, they are spread apart and more worse pitchers are now pitching. A-Rod i don't think took steroids, he has always been consistent, Frank Thomas said he did it (getting to 500) the right way, Smoltz was dominant in the beginning, Glavine quietly won, but also played for a team that finished 1st in their division for a decade straight so I see where the wins come from. Steroids didn't have a big factor in many of these milestones.

Yes there have been tons of records broken. I remember when 500 HR's was a big thing. But look at some of the players that you named.....Glavine, Biggio. These guys played clean and played long and hard. These are the guys that never, EVER took the easy way out like a Sosa or a Bonds did. Look at Griffey, thin - no roids! Played hurt and has been around for a long time. This guy played the game to his best and never took any shortcuts.

I follow baseball as closely as you or anyone else and I don't understand how you can reel off the names of those who took steroids and those that didn't. I am sure not aware of who does and who doesn't. In fact, it is against the MLB/Union agreement to announce any of the results from the drug testing, which is the only true source of the drug testing results. How is it that the players you believe took steroids are still playing if they tested positive for any of the (53) banned drugs contained within the drug testing program? And please don't come back and tell me there is collusion between subcontractor, MLB, the Players union, and the players. Just give me facts and not your opinion.

Always nice to see there are some great players out there breaking records and doing it on their own without steriod help. I love it!
