It depends...
f you buy a nice double-wide in a nice private, wooded lot, there is nothing wrong with that.

After, you can begin to invest your $ in other, more lucrative things or have $ for vacations you may not otherwise be able to afford.

I regret selling my double-wide I had way up on a hill with mountain and water views 3 years ago. It would be paid off right now and I would have a lot more disposable income.

And keep the ladder. Someone has to clean the rain gutters.

Why stress yourself out trying to get ahead? Relax....work at a job you really enjoy. You don't need a lot of material things. If you work so hard that you can't enjoy life or what you have, then is it really worth it?
