I play the piano, but the guitar is so different. I usually pick up
things pretty quickly, and also don't have the time to go take

Try guitartabs.com or ultimate-guitar.com are both pretty good "free" sites that have a whole lot of songs to learn from.
You mentioned that you play piano, so I'm guessing you know how to read music as well. At these sites, however, you needn't know how to read music, just tablature which is quite easy to grasp.

all i did was look up tabs at first, then i learned chords and that was it for me. you can look up tabs at ultimate-guitar.com or you can go to thenextlevelguitar.com for lessons and scales and whatnot.
