Of course he will go for it again. Mice are stupid. All they see is a quick meal. He will come back for more.

Yes. I had a mechanical trap in my bedroom for a mouse. He came at it from the wrong side and was propelled across the room. (heard the snap, then the thud on the far wall). So, I reset the trap and set it up so he would come at it from the right direction. Fifteen minutes later....*snap*....*scratch scratch scratch*....silence.

Yes. He has a mouse-sized brain.

What is that lid thing? If you really want to get rid of a mouse use the kind with the spring. That is what the professional exterminators use and when a mouse is hit with that he doesn't squeeze out from it.

Mice aren't as stupid as you think, and they actually learn pretty quickly in labs how to navigate mazes, and which "treat" will give them a zap.

That mouse may come back, but, he probably won't unless he can't find any other treat in the house.

Of course! Their eyes are so blurry, they can't even see. I recommend putting it against the wall, since they use that as a guide to move around.

I use the stick strap. Someone told me to use peanut butter, since they are more attracted to it. Good luck. I'm trying to catch on myself.

No, unlike dogs' and cat's a mouse is capable of learning from what just happened but can only remember stuff that JUST happened not to long ago.
