I'm a man. Can't get pregnant, can't have an abortion. The situations in which abortion becomes an option are terrible and complicated (and probably absolutely unique) and something I am not willing to make a decision for someone else on.
The decision is best left to the pregnant woman and her doctor. They are the individuals who understand the situation best.

While I think abortion is a woman's right, I don't believe it should be used as a common birth control method. If a person just decides not to use condoms or one of the many other choices of birth control, well then they should deal with the consequences. However, if a woman is raped or there is major health risk, then the woman should at least have the option to abort the pregnancy. No one should have any say in this matter except for the woman carrying the child...not the father, the parents of an under age child, the government. This right should solely belong to the pregnant woman.

It's wrong in some instances, but necessary in others. I would never say I am completely against it because there are rare, sad cases where a woman/girl is raped, especially if it's by a family member or something similar to this.
No child should ever have to grow up when it was created so horrifically.
As far as a lazy woman not wanting to bother having protected sex, or a careless person just sleeping around for fun, and then wanted to have abortion after abortion... that's definitely wrong.
Abortion is right sometimes, sadly, because of the hate in the world. I don't think it should be seen as a method of birth control, and I certainly don't think it should be done late in the pregnancy.
Hope my view helped!

My opinion on abortion would not make anyone happy I think. It is quite clear in the constitution that division of powers between the federal government and state government. Abortion is a state issue. The United States Supreme Court should never have ruled on this issue. Each state should make that decision.
On a personal note I think abortion is abhorrent.

People can do what ever they want to do...but I couldn't ever do that. I belive it's a human life once conception is done. I feel sad for the babies that have been terminated...it's sad. I wish people that could help prevent it...use a condom or not have woopie. I know there's special situations and all but I don't think I could abort a baby at all....just my opinion and I think everyone should have their own and the right to exercise it.

I think that it's the woman's right to choose what she wants. On the other hand. If she had unprotected sex she should have the baby. I don't know...I'm either or... If a woman had her baby that she didn't want she can always put it up for adoption. I think that is a sensible way of doing things. Unless of course she was raped. Then I'd so go for the abortion.

I can think of some legitimate reasons such as incest, rape or severe defects. Otherwise, I believe it is wrong to use abortion as a form of common birth control. I am most impressed by hypnotic regression sessions in which people speak of their memories from the womb.
Legally, it is the duty of Government to protect the Right to Life, first and foremost, just as it says in the Declaration of Independence (the guiding philosophy for our nation).
Scientifically speaking, the unborn child is a unique human being, not a lump of the mother's own flesh. A simple genetic test will prove this. The mother is its natural host during that stage of its naturally occurring life cycle.
For the sake of comparison, I think there is no question that if I stomp on the unhatched (but developing) eggs of an endangered sea turtle, I am destroying the lives of sea turtles.
Abortion is the killing of a human being. Our society accepts killing for some reasons, such as the death penalty for violent criminals or killing in war. I think it is a sad statement that a large, profitable business has been made of killing the innocent unborn children.

i believe it's a woman right to choose what she wants to do with the baby. she is the one that will go through labor and not the people who go on strike in the streets against abortion. the mother needs to know her limits and feels it's the right thing then she should go through with because she has no other choice.
i also believe humans should not bring in the theory that it is ending another living thing's life. look what's on your plate for dinner today. is there meat? can you believe that an animal LOST IT'S LIFE because you wanted something tasty? is this right. are humans really the supreme being on this earth. everyone has killed. you may have killed a plant, a bug, or indirectly and animal. the baby is something very similar.
it is up to the mother to decide just has it is up to you to decide whether to eat the meat on your plate.

I think both people should have an equal say to abort or not. I don't feel that it's up to the government nor a radical group of religious people, should decide on a couples decision.

if you look at the progression of a babies life before it arrives in the world the only logical conclusion is that it is nothing less than murder- birth control works extremely well today there is no reason for abortion -
