Do you think he will make the team and split carries with Larry Johnson.

Some of you people are complete morons. You have no idea what you are talking about and don't even read the questions being asked. Do everyone who wants serious answers a favor and go on a different site.

Does anyone on this site know anything about fantasy football? This is the top story on all the sports sites. If you don't know the answers don't reply to the question.

Well, he's cleared to participate/play. That was probably the biggest hurdle.

He's still under contract to the Chiefs, so he's on a team. Salary could be an issue.

I don't think he'll split carries evenly, but I do think he could come back and become a force on third downs and goalline play. Kind of like Jerome Bettis his last year, only better.

I think you have to draft him, especially if you own Johnson.

I also think the timing of this has as much to do with Johnson's contract as anything.

We won't know much until the preseason and he takes a hit or two.

he will be a non factor in fantasy football this year. Larry Johnson is a work horse. Holmes might make the team but he will be no more then a end of the game clean-up guy at best.

There's no doubt he won't be getting the same reps as Johnson does, but he'll definately be making some appearances towards mid-season and he might just be able to produce if he's able to get back in shape. I'd expect to see around 600, maybe 700 yds and 6 TDs if he's lucky. I'd draft him as a free agent after the first couple games.

This is hardly a top story. For one, the guy hasn't played in a long time. He may not even be in playing shape. Then there's the fact that he's old. To me, it's a complete non-issue. He won't be a factor.
