I beleive it is either a 1989 or 1991 and a 28 hp.

You need the model number which should be next to the serial number. It should start with an E28 or E30. Look at the second and third to last letters. They correspond to the letters in the word introduces where i=1n=2t=3 and so on to s=0. So if your model number is e30txeid for example, than e would be 9 and i would be1 for 91.
