Let A-D be your grades in the order you listed them
0.15A + 0.25B + 0.25C + 0.35D = Final grade

it's called a weighted average. multiply weight times value (several times), add them up, divide by total weight. if your report card had 3 A's (worth 4), 2 B's (worth 3), and 1 C (worth 2), you'd compute [3(4) + 2(3) + 1(2)] / [3 + 2 + 1] = 20/6 = 3.67.

in this case, let 1st number be A, 2nd B, 3rd C, 4th D. you have

[15%(A) + 25%(B) + 25%(C) + 35%(D)] / 100%

plug in the values of ABCD.

The Average is the total divided by the number, in this case 100% divided by 4 = 25%.

ok, this is quite simple

first, the number that is worth 15% we will assume is 80
multiply 80*.15

the 2nd we will assume is 90
multiply 90*.25

the 3rd we will assume is 75
multiply 75*.25

the 4th we will assume is 87
Multiply 87*.35

then add up the numbers you get, and you will have your average! Which in this case is : 83.7
