I am 25 years old. I was 19 years old on 9/11. It is bad for me to feel this way. Moveon Mike Moveon!! Truthfully I need to think about this ladies and gentlemen. Six years almost...is a while. However my wound is still open and I, well, I am still sad. I am sad no one cares. I am sad that 3,000 loved ones have died and no one seems to notice. Maybe I am wrong. I just hope we all can reconcile under all this partisanship in the country. I love my home. I love were I live goddam it!!!! Can I not say that people?!?! Gees!!!! Sorry....just angry at myself. chaos...to much chaos. Got to turn off the TV. Liberal and Conservativly speaking. To many talk shows that spew propaganda. The Truth is...well Huhhhhh.....God Bless America. Sorry for this frustration I have at the moment. Stand beside her...and guide her. Zealots with religious fervor? Does that make any goddam sense?!?

I was at my desk in a building 2 blocks to the east of the Towers and was pretty much aware of all that was going on.

People do care although it may not necessarily be shown the way you might show it or would want to see it shown.

There were many who felt that the site has become a tourist attraction. In a way it has. You have to realize that something like this hasn't happened in the U.S. - much less NY - in generations. The only way many (especially those that don't live anywhere in the NY area) can accept the fact such an tragedy can happen is to visit and take pictures. I have gone down there on occasion on a weekend just to see the site and "eavesdrop" on the tourists. The reverence is there (not to mention a lot of tears).

Don't judge based on what the politicians say and do. They will never be 100% right.

The TV talking heads are making you feel hopeless and impotent (in the sense that you can't affect your own life and world). Turn off the TV and sit outside for awhile and listen to the birds and watch the trees blow. That's a start.

Next...don't think for a second that people aren't still thinking about what happened that day. In so many ways the explanations of the reasons for the attacks along with the methods used to achieve the attack don't make any sense but yet the parrots in the mainstream media keep repeating them and making you feel like you are the only one who is still confused. You are not. They are just trying to sell you lies that conform to policies their corporate owners are pushing to make themselves even richer. That's where these feelings are coming from.

Join a book club (non-fiction) and start introducing books about the events surrounding 9-11 and I think you will at least have a release for those frustrating feelings...and probably find that others share your frustrations.

Take care and good luck!

Yes 9/11 was a tragedy where 3000 lives were taken but since then people have been dieing every single day and thousands have been dieing every single day in wars going on in the world since that time so in years time, people would forget about the deaths that occur nowadays (e.g. in Iraq) and concentrate on the deaths that happen at that time.

I was 13 (14 the next month) I think then....and watched every bit of it on the news.

Even now I can't believe it ever happened.
