If Bonds beats Aaron's record, will my Bonds rookie cards go up in value?

Of course I'd rather see the cheater be kicked out of baseball altogether but I wonder if his record will drive up the value of his baseball cards. I collected them when I was 10 years old and have several of Bond's rookie cards. Just wondering if I will profit from this terrible injustice in baseball history.

Yeah, it's topps. I'll save it for my grandkids, teach them a story about cheating.

You will profit over time. The older the card the more value it will gain. But if they are Topps cards it will take a long time for the value to increase due to the fact that Topps printed so many cards during the 80's and early 90's that there are thousands of the same cards available.

Yes, but you would be better off with 1 Hank Aaron rookie card than all of your Bonds rookies.

Yes the value of it will increase. Which is why i'll be sad and happy when he breaks it because i'll have his rookie card too, but he'll be cheating his way past the record.

Yes, but you will need to give them a drug test first. When he dies an early death due to steroids, or is indicted, the value might change drastically.
