I have a pink lava lamp that is about oh idk... 6 or 7 years old? The lava is sitting on the bottom of the lamp in a strange clump. It does not flooowwww. like it should. Is there anything i can do to fix it with some huge hassel and project? please help! Thanks.

The premise of all lava lamps is that a small bulb in the base heats the very bottom of the liquid container, which is where the large blob of material usually sets, until it gets hot enough to rise to the top, split into several different pieces on the way, cools off and falls back down so it can be reheated and the process starts all over again, and again, and again. If the blob isn't moving, most likely either the bulb is too small to produce enough heat to make the thing work, or the bulb isn't working at all. Lift out the liquid container and check it. If it's bad replace it. Should work.

There are several sights that deal with lava lamps and how to build them and how to refill them. Just "Google" up lava lamp and follow the prompts to the best solution to your problem. Good luck!

Go to Google; type in LaveLamp or LaveLamp Repair.
Go to the web site and ask what is wrong.
I know there is something you can put in there but I don*t know what it is. Good Luck
