I'm having a real hard time smiling right now. I love the people on here. I mean..... seriously. This place has been such a home to me for well over a year and a half now. I've seen people come (yay) and I've seen people go (sniff)...... and we are like a little society here where we have to realize that this IS real life it is not just a group of fonts typing away with no heart, soul and mind on the other side. We ache when we hurt. We are elated when we are happy. We get confused when we misunderstand. The irony is...... this is a site used to communicate and what is happening is that people are doing anything BUT communicating. People are venting right and left and saying what is upsetting them and taking it out on people that perhaps are even more confused and baffled than they are. Most are finding that when they have a problem.... they don't know how to address it in this forum. And that confuses me. In life we walk up to someone and tell them why we are hurt.... why we are bothered. Why can't we do that here? Why do we have to lash out in ways that only hurt people more? I find more and more I'm gravitating to just a select few people that I know will talk openly and positively and not make this a negative experience.... but a positive release for everyone. I hate seeing people cry. I hate seeing people in pain. We all have come here to laugh and escape work and reality for just a short bit. So why bring issues into it when it could be the party and the eutopia we so crave!!
You seem to smile at every turn. I so wish the rest of everyone here would. We all just need to relax...... regroup.... put things behind us... and just enjoy what we've been given. Ok??
Now......... now I would love to smile!

Just, Faithful & True is my God. His mercy and unending grace flow abundantly across this place. Transforming the weak, only Him my heart will seek. Setting free those who are bound in chains & taking away all of the pain. Year after year, He wipes away my tears, being my shelter when my soul fears. And to Him my hands raise, my mouth gives praise, not just today, but all of my days.
Before I knew Him, He loved me. You see, I was a man full of pride. All of my troubles I tried to hide, with drugs, gangs & a bottle with destruction inside. But even though I was lost, a sinner you might say, He still chose to die for me anyway. And in His love I now stand, on a firm foundation instead of quick sinking sand, holding tight to His nail pierced hands.
The man I once was no longer is. I am a new creation, an ambassador of the Lord, whom I owe my salvation. And with this new life I now can live, with no fear of death or condemnation. For He who began a good work in me will finish the work He started, because my will has departed, and through Him a new course is charted. And now my life’s a living sacrifice, since my Savior paid the price.
Smile is what I will do. For the things He has done, for the battles that He has won, & for giving me my son. And my smile says: “He is Holy, the one and only, Lord who is worthy.” While on that cross His life did He give, and my transgressions He did forgive, for the eternal life I now can live. And to Him my hands raise, my mouth gives praise, not just today, but all of my days.
