I am working and studying to go to school for nursing, should i make more time for fun? Or should i stuff my head in the books because it will be worth it in the future?

Will it be worth it in the future? Why because you will have a nice car or a nice house. Why because you will have more money than that guy over there. Why because you will have no memories of your friends or anything of you years in high school. I'm not telling you to go out every night and get high or drunk but let loose man you are only allowed to do that stuff for a short time in your life don't let it pass you by.

Your friends are having all the fun and will pay all the penalties for it.
You are working hard for school and will reap the credits and the rewards for that.
With that said "All fun and no play will make Jack a dull boy." You need time to take off for some fun or you will go crazy, but if you life the lifestyle that your friends are it will catch up with you and destroy you. Watch your friends who are playing now and see where they are in ten years. Even Paris Hilton started off in the best of situations and she is slowly destroying herself. The ratings for the Simple Life are off, and the public will start turning against her if she gets one more DWI. They have only so much patience.

You're not missing much. And your studies will pay off. Just remember when you do go out with your friends to party, don't agree to anything after your first drink that you didn't have planned before the party. I've told guys who wanted sex to ask me when I'm sober. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't. One who didn't I regretted until I found out he was Bisexual, and had a STD. You will live longer and better if you keep your wits about you. I have few wits, but they have served me well.

be smart stay in school.your friends will not have a very bright future living like this.drugs kill and are illegal underage drinking is also illegal and can result in a lot of bad choices resulting in pregnancy,stds,HIV,aids and accidents and violent behavior and can lead to even worse drugs.sex can wait it should wait having an unwanted baby is not good for anyone.set a better example for your friends maybe they will choose a better life because of you! good luck.

Aw, keep up the hard work, but give yourself a break sometimes! At least 1 day a week go out with your friends and get hammered.

No, you're doing the right thing...when you become a nurse...you can get them clinic appt's for their STD's and make them go to AA
