Well what I always take to the beach is a nice big towel; second a smaller one to dry myself off when I go for a surf. Well if you surf or bodybording I would suggest to bring your board and wax is a must and it’s kind of hot right now in the pacific so you don’t need a wet suit. And sun block!

:) I worry just as much about What/Who I might Forget and Leave At The Beach...
-Something to collect shells in
-Thick, thirsty over - sized towel
- A condensed, foldable lounge chair or the equivalent
- Sunscreen/Lip Balm/Moisturizer
-Bug Repellent (esp. during evening hrs.)
- Sunglasses
-Band - Aids
-Benadryl (in case of allergic reaction to bite/sting, ocean inhabitant, food etc.)
- Some people like to wear a hat or lug a beach umbrella for "shade"/protection
- A good book
- A light - colored T - shirt and sarong or a "beach cover - up"
- Sandals or flip - flops (or river/water shoes if you like to hike around on the rocks etc.)
-Tampons
- Change of clothes/extra suit/shoes/first - aid kit (left in car)
*Upon arrival, don't forget water and beach - appropriate snacks*

remember what you forgot last time and make sure you have it with you this time, and if you forget something this time make a note of it, the only essential items for the beach or friends and or a lover and some suncream, maybe some sort of costume if nude bathing is not allowed.
