Try rubbing alcohol and a razor blade, I had gotten a ticket for tinted windows, and i used the rubbing alcohol and a razor blade, worked great and doesn't scratch like you would think it would.

WD-40 works well to remove the glue from stickers. It will leave an oily residue that will come off with window or glass cleaner.
I've also heard lighter fluid works, but I've never tried it.
One of the two should do the trick.

Try penetrating oil, like WD 40. Dab it on. Wait a minute. Wipe off. If that does not work, Kmart sells Goo Gone in the Auto section.
Final desperate solutions: use kerosene or gasoline. But be careful. They are flammable and toxic. Don't put on a hot window.

Take a piece of paper towel and soak it in Rubbing alcohol, and put it over the residue, and let it stay for about 20 minutes or more,Then take a sponge and rub it off. If you want you can dip the sponge in the alcohol, and rub have patience it will come off. I just read that hair spray will do it also.(I never tried that one)

Use WD-40 or Bug and Tar remover. This should loosen the rest of the sticker. It will be greasy afterward, whichever one you use so just clean with hot water and soap.

WD-40 and a credit card. Spray it on the gunk and use the credit card to clean it off.
