Check out the "wear to work" & "shop by outfit" features on oldnavy.com for ideas.

Lucky magazine is also a good source for ideas & getting information about prices.

OK, the first guy who answered...what a loser.

Anyway, you should try things like knee length skirts, wrap style tops with camis underneath (so you're not exposing too much), straight leg or wide leg slacks, and colorful tops. If you have dark hair and an olive complexion, you are lucky because a lot of beautiful jewel tones will look great on you, and help to give you a nice colorful modern look. Cute jackets or blazers with embroidery on them are really in right now. Also, black & white is very modern looking and trendy. Some stores that I like (I'm 26 too!!) are Macy's, New York & Company, H&M, Gap, and there's always Old Navy.

Here's an example of something I would wear out to a casual setting:

pants

And then I'd add some nice bracelets or bangles & matching earrings.

Ok, capris and leggings are really in right now. And, being Indian, you should put some Indian style into your outfits, [LOTS of jewelry, bangles, head bands etc.] I would got to places like American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, and H&M. They have great clothes. Also, if you can, find a plato's closet. They have clothes from virtually EVERYWHERE for discount prices.
