I have a small backyard and a huge dog, 200lbs. I walk him whevenever I get a chance, but because of work, not enough. His urine in the backyard is gagging, I rinse off the urine as soon as I see it, daily, but it still stinks! I tried pressure washer the concrete, but it's kind of difficult to pressure wash my planter. What do I do? Will spraying vinegar kill the plants? How about baking soda?

Vinegar is a very effective plant killer. I am not sure about the baking soda though. Try placing some charcoal along the top of the soil to soak up that smell. If fter about 4 days, it still stinks change it out.

Actuallty, try adding a little cheap vanilla to your watering can. Vanilla is great for getting rid of bad smells. I once forgot a bowl of hot cereal in the microwave and we left for a few days. It smelled like someone had gotten sick, and vanilla got rid of that smell.
