Congratulations. You should deliver in the next couple of days or weeks. 39 weeks is the higher end of the gestation period. 36 weeks has recently been added as viable full term. Just stay as active as you can, walking and other mild exercising as your body permits.
It takes as long as it takes. Inducement is risky and almost always results in a Cesarean birth. Your are almost at the finish line. Just be patient.

No, but I don't think having Braxton Hicks 3-4 times a day means anything. I am 21 weeks along and I have them more often than that in a day and have been for weeks now.

Hold out for as long as you can. I know it sucks, but 36 weeks your baby might not be ready to be in the world yet as the baby's lungs are still developing. 38 weeks is the soonest that you really want to go into labor. The longer you can hold out the better it will be for the baby. Trust me on this, after the baby is born you are going to wish you could still be pregnant so you can sleep. I wish you the best of luck

My son became into 3/5's engaged at 37 weeks and that i had him at 39 + 4 toddlers do no longer inevitably could be engaged before labour starts as some women folk (notably in the event that they're 2nd or next pregnancies) do no longer grow to be totally engaged till they're in labour. additionally the toddler can slip in and out of the pelvis at this point too, so which you will possibly properly be 2/5's one week and not be engaged in any respect the subsequent. stable luck with the beginning and the excitement that being a clean mum brings to you

Try to relax. And as crazy as this sounds - ENJOY the last few days of being pregnant! Most moms, me included, SOMETIMES miss being pregnant! Enjoy it. Catch up on your chores, read a book, make dinners to freeze for after the baby is born.
Try lots of walking and sex, supposedly that works, although it never did for me.
The more patient and relaxed you are, I truly believe, the sooner labor will start.
Good luck - hang in there!

you're probably not more than a few weeks away. for some reason doctors don't let you know that they really can't tell when it will happen until it happens and they fail to tell you that losing your mucous plug doesn't mean labor will start right away. Good Luck & hang in there!

Full term suggests that you are between 38 and 42 weeks pregnant. If the doctor told you the baby's weight is an average size of a full term child then ask him to do an ultrasound to see if the baby's organs and other body parts have matured long enough to induce labor.

Probably a week or two. I lost my mucus plug 2 weeks before I had my daughter. Honestly, as much as you don't want to be pregnant anymore, it would be best if you didn't give birth for at least another week. While your child would probably be perfectly fine born now, he/she would probably be healthier if you went to 37-38 weeks. Be patient, enjoy your freedom, and ability to relax. It will all be over soon. Good luck and congratulations!
