I have watched it but found it stupid and boring unfortunately. I was all excited until I saw it.

As a baseball fan (although not real crazy about the Yankees - no offense) I've found it too be pretty entertaining. But are they really showing anything new? I would think that any Yankees fan, and most any baseball fan for that matter, that was around in the 70's would already have heard about all this stuff. It is pretty cool the way they're weaving the Son of Sam story and the mayoral race in, kind of gives you a sense of what the mood was in NYC at the time. I think the only real drawback to it is that i think John Turturro's portrayal of Billy Martin is a little bit "over the top". I mean, really, I realize that Billy had some pretty big ears, but the prosthetics he's wearing look the result of Prince Charles mating with Dumbo's mother. I think he's playing Martin almost as a cartoon character, and I think that's doing an injustice to Billy. I was never a real big fan of Martin's, but I think he was a much more intelligent, complex and interesting man then he is being portrayed as. I also like the fact that they are using real game footage as much as possible - I still see baseball in "low definition".
On the whole, I'd say it's been pretty entertaining, and the bottom line is that, even as someone who's not very fond of the Yankees, George Steinbrenner, Reggie Jackson or Billy Martin, it's still holding my interest enough to want to see next week's episode.

I really like The Bronx is Burning I've learned alot about what really happened in 1977 on the Yankees and what happened in the city with the mystery of Son of Sam.

im not really a fan of the show i just think its funny how somecalled espn the yankee channel- 9 out of ten people there dont even like the yankees. find me one nice thing Peter Gammons has ever said about them- it just happens to be an intresting story- sorry Curt Schillings bloody sock cant be an 8 episode thing

wow, i think the program is great, it shows the turmoil of the team! shows George as the cheerleader, Billy as a die hard Yankee, and Reggie as a misunderstood long ball hitter! plus on top of that , it shows that whacked out freak son of sam!!! i only wish the series would have run for 7 nights in a row! me?/ native of so cal but love baseball!

It is just another example that can lead to the conclusion that ESPN is the Yankee's Network. Watch Baseball tonight, you get fifteen minutes of whether Jeter or A-rod is a better hitter, nine minutes and forty-five seconds of commercials, and then fifteen seconds of highlights from all the other games in the majors.

I FIND EVERY INTERESTING AND FUN TO WATCH AND SEE WHAT KIND OF HAPPENED IN 1977 WITH GEORGE, REGGIE BILLY AND ETC AND THE WHOLE SEASON SO I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE

He talks a lot of crap about some people and thats why i dont really like that show. i guess its his show so he can do whatever he wants. i dislike that show
