1.) (x + 10)(x + 3) = 0
x = -10, -3
2.) (x - 12)(x - 7) = 0
x = 12, 7
3.) (x - 40)(x + 6) = 0
x = 40, -6
4.) 2x^2 + 24x - 9x - 108 = 0
2x(x + 12) -9(x + 12) = 0
x = -12, 9/2
5.) 9x^2 - 21x + 12x - 28 = 0
3x(3x - 7) +4(3x - 7) = 0
x = 7/3, -4/3
6.) 18x^2 - 57x + 35 = 0
18x^2 - 42x - 15x + 35 = 0
6x(3x - 7) -5(3x - 7) = 0
x = 7/3, 5/6
