Dont be a rapper. Rap is going downhill and plus its hard to get into the business. Why not become a ghostwriter maybe you can write for some of the rappers out now that aint really saying anything like lil boosie or the hey bay bay guy.

Hmmmmm..... I had the same problem and had to choose something else {programming}
As for you, do what your good at. If your good at songwriting then do that. Or maybe you can do both. You can hire someone to be a singer for you. One good example is Sweet Like Chocolate - By Shanks and Bigfoot.
But Just to let you know. There will be one day (maybe in the near future) when Rap goes out of fashion and something else new comes in. But do what your mind is set on.

Oh cool but I hope u have a good education to back u up when that rapping thing goes down the drane,But everyone can rap its not singing more like talking faster with a flow.You Need to just practice your voice.Good Luck With The Rapping ;)

If you have a nice flowand you think you can fit the image of being a ganster, poetic, or just real and being true to yourself type rapper then I believe you will do great if your any good also...and if that dosent work then go ahead and be a ghostwriter or write songs like neyo does for eveyone, he gets alot of money doing just that.

well just get singing lessons.but if you can't try to sing everything you say all day for a couple of weeks or so and you'll improve alot.and all those people who are breaking your spirit don't let all that get to you.I'm not into hip hop but I'm not telling you to quit.and it might take alot of work to get into the rappin' biz but it will be worth it trust me.

I think you should rap, Get as many Gigs as possible. Thats how you get noticed and you might get a record deal. You may never know.
