One way to look at it is to say I want 2*gmw S over the total
gmw's which is [2*N + 8*H + 2*S +8*O]. Weight over weight, which I will multiply by 100 to get required %w/w.

(NH4)2S2O8 Mol. mass = 2x14 + 1x8 + 32x2 + 16x8
= 228g/mol = 228g
S2 = 64g/mole = 64g
(64 ÷ 228) x 100 = Sulphur = 28% w/w

the molecular weight is 228.2038g/mol

therfore %w/w=(32.066g/228.2038)*100=

14%*2=28%
