I've never blocked anyone - and never will - and yet I am already blocked.
What makes you block other users?

I haven't had the need to block any user yet, but I know of some people that do because they get offensive emails from some other users.

TROLLS
People are having there accounts deleted just because the trolls want to go around reporting questions that there is nothing with. If you have a stalker/troll, it is very easy to get suspended if your stalker/troll can see your questions and answers. I try to block out the trolls that I know of. Those are the only ones I have blocked....

People who make insulting comments to other users. I block them before they even get a chance of answering my questions.

i block for the comparable motives as you, or if i do unlike there avatar or call!...don't be disillusioned, which you need to to be grateful reason considering they blocked you, they even have beans for brains! they do no longer understand what a competent individual they're lacking out on in there existence!~?~

ok, here's the deal dude..... I used to be a fan of yours, I thought you were funny and your questions were hilarious, but you started making VERY mean comments against different races and I was very disappointed so I blocked you... we're all here for fun..

I choose not to block anyone. My rationale goes back to the book, "The Art of War" wherein one axiom in there says:
"Hold your friends close, your enemies closer."

I'm like you. I don't block people. Maybe they block people because they think they're psychos or just plain annoying.

When I suspect someone of targeting me or one of my other contacts for violations. Purely a self-defense measure.
Both have happened. Remember, it isn't paranoia if they're really out to get you.
