Not necessarily. I have learned more from my mistakes than I have from getting it right all the time. However, if you are in a position where your wrong decision could cost you or someone their life, then you are in the wrong position. It really depends on the circumstance. 90% of the time our little mistakes cost us less than the lesson learned.

It's always nice to make a right decision, however that is not a natural human tendency. Even rats are smarter than humans, as they learn from the mistakes of other rats (ie they see another rat die from a certain poison and learn not to eat that poison). Some human just seem to always make the best split-second decisions, while others of us, in the realm of normal, tend to learn by trial and error, particularly when we are trying to use an alternate method than we normally do.

No. Learning by trial and error will teach you something. Plus, getting everything right the first time is too easy and no fun.

Nah, because then you wouldn't have any experience and life wouldn't be fun knowing that you learned how to overcome a sitution that may be helpful in the long run for you and others.

No, because if you get it right the first time you don't learn as much. You know what works, but you don't know what doesn't. If you get something wrong and then get it right, you know what is wrong and what is right.

one grows 'best' by trial and error, depth has less meaning and character lacks strength without struggle..
