Hard question! Some of best and smartest dogs we've had in family were mutts. Mostly just wondered up to the house hungry and ragged after being thrown out on the side of the road.

I have had both before and I somewhat like mutts because they are more calmer than purebreeds sometimes.

I prefer mutts! Every one I have ever seen seems to have a nice temperament, and lets be honest they are the same as people.
Its not the breed its the person (or dog) inside that counts!

I like purebreeds better.. they look better.. And if you can get another pure breed to breed it with........you can make some money!

i prefer purebreed mostly because they are prettier...my pitbull is purebreed and she is gorgeous
