I would like to find out where ( what sites) someone has been to while using my computer. The person I am wanting to check on has figured out how to delete the history, so I can't do it that way. Is there another way for me to find out?

Ok, you can go to control panel, click on "network and internet connections" then on "internet options" it should be under there, unless they deleted all of it. If they did you could check the recycle bin, maybe they forgot to empty it.

Last, if all else fells do a system backup....back up your comp. to a new point.

It's possible to get an idea of the sites they are at by looking at the Temporary Internet Files. It's basically a cache of downloaded pics and stuff to make pages quicker to load. But if they can delete the history, chances are they delete that too. Sorry.

No, that is the purpose of deleting history. Either you have to put in a program that monitors activities (and hides that record by a password) or install a password so that user can not get on your computer.

Look through the "Temporary Internet Files" and see which URL's the cookies are from. If she's figured out history, she may have figured out how to delete these too though.

You can download keyloggers, they register every click and movement done on the computer. Its like a spy tool, used by parents to watch their children. Some of these software can be hidden from the tray also, so no one will know about it.

You can, actually. It's called KeyKatcher software. Never tried it myself but I have heard good things about it from an insane, stalker female friend of mine. Not only will you be able to see where they have gone but you will also be able to see their passwords and everything they type. Go here:

Look under cookies. Unless they've deleted them, it's all there.
