First I was skipping sentences, then whole pages. At this point, I'm debating whether or not to skip to the last two chapters or not finish the book at all.

I thought it was more like being subjected to the Imperius Curse, in the sense of feeling compelled to finish it. But if you're implying that the book drags a little in the middle, I can't say I disagree with you.
If you're bogged down, mark the spot where you started skipping stuff, set the book aside for a day or two, and pick up where you left off. It does get better, and MUCH better toward the end. Hang in there!

I think the real problem with the book is that it's the last one in the series and a lot of folks really want to find out what happens. It's not that difficult to read, and not actually that boring. But a lot of folks, and I'm not saying you are among them, are just so eager to find out what happens that their skipping through it.

Yea..definitely just you. Deathly Hallows was one of the better books of the series.

Its just you. You've read the other books right? If you didn't, then you will have no idea what was going on. But do whatever you want to do its your choice. Personally I liked it.

That is sad! I liked the book total tear-jerker! You should finish, but if you don't like the book you will HATE the epilogue....
