I'd rather be loved. if you love someone, they might not love you back, but if you are the person that is being loved, you at least feel good about the fact that a certain person cares about you a great deal.
besides, knowing that you are loved gives you a nice fuzzy, warm feeling inside.

OK, this will sound stupid as he11.
I've "loved" unrequited, and been "loved" unrequited.
I can fake requiting with the right person.
Translation: I'd rather be loved because I have a shot at fixing that, but otherwise the pain does not stop.
I suspect you'll see guys rather being loved, and women rather loving.
Of course I don't know what women really want but they probably will say that.:) (I suspect women don't know what they want either.:))

I would rather love. There's a kind of satisfaction that you only get when you help and care for another person. It may hurt not to be loved back, but sometimes, that's just the way life is.
Good question.

I'd love
Whats the point of being loved by the sunsets, by the breezes tht blow thro the tree branches in summer, or the raindrops that fall softly from the sky, when you won't love them back?
I'd love to love, even if I'm not loved back

Is it possible to truely love someone who does not love you back? If the person put on a really good front how long could they keep it up?

I would rather love than be loved. I'm sure it probably stems from my antisocial, loner, extremely shy, wallflower tendencies, but in my limited experience, being loved is intimidating, but loving someone else is safer. That way, I'm the one in control. (I should mention I'm a control-freak as well).

I prefer to take pain than cause it. if someone loved me and i didnt return it, i would hurt that person. but if i loved someone, and they didnt love me back, then i would get hurt.
from expereince, ive learnt how to withstand emotional and physical pain, but if that person hasnt, then their life's in jeopardy. I can recover fom any type of emotional sh1t, but i dont think everyone can. Id prefer to take a slight amount of pain to save someone else of a lifetime of it.
if you think about it. if i take that choice for someone, i probably love them.
there can never be only one...

I've already spent most of my love, and need some to come my way, then I'll be able to give it again.

if i chose to be loved i would have to sorrow of not loving that person back and causing them pain which would to cause me pain
so i would choose to love
