judging by the way Roger goodell has dealt with Pacman Jones and Tank Johnson, Michael Vick should be suspended for at least a year, but he, like every other scum that populates the country and the earth, has an unalienable right to a free and fair trial. once he is found guilty though, he should be taken out behind the courthouse and shot twice, once in the nuts and then one to the head because you just can't do that kind of thing to a dog.

This whole situation sickens me. The NFL needs to ban him, and all the other players who have brought negative press to the NFL. They are living a dream that so few people in this world get to live, and they take it for granted!! There are very talented players just waiting to take their place. I'm an animal rights activist, so this story really bothers me, but it is true that it isn't up to us to judge him. I believe that people get what they deserve, and if he was involved, in ANY way, he will be banned and serve time in jail.
If anyone is interested in becoming an animal rights activist, get with the people at your local humane society. They can use all the help they can get to help innocent animals and protect them from this kind of treatment.

Banned from the NFL yes! Thrown in jail or prison, only after he receives a far trial and is found guilty.

The courts will determine if prison time is necessary. As for being banned from the NFL. In my humble opinion, his behavior does not reflect positively on the game. A suspension may be appropriate.

I think that Vick shouldn't be banned from the NFL forever but I do think he should go to jail and be suspended as long as he is in jail. I'm mad at Vick because at first I liked him but now that he did that to the dogs I dont care for him. I love dogs

I think so. Not only did he fight fogs, he killed them by electrocuting or drowning them if they weren't good enough to fight. That is just plain cruelty. It isn't the animal's fault that he got bored or try to make some more money. I think that animals don't deserve this kind of treatment because they didn't do anything to deserve it. You know what, I believe that he should also be electrocuted, drowned, and put in a fight just so he could know how it felt to be treated that way. How could he be such a bad person and be so rich? That's just not fair because there are other people in this world that do very good things and deserve to be rich. I would feel so guilty if I were him.

For sure, it's absolutely ridiculous how sports players are suspended from playing a sport for a few games. If other people get a DUI or get charged with murder, they go to prison, not suspended from work for a week.

Personally, if convicted...yes I think he should be in prison, which he will if convicted, and I do believe, convicted or not, his career...at least as an effective starter(was he ever?) is over. Good riddance
