It's tough to compare. Champ Car goes %90 as fast as F1 on about %10 of the budget of F1 so there is something to be said for it. Racing open wheel cars on an oval is faster than F1 so there is something to be said for that. However there is nothing like F1.

Champ cars have raced its way to irrelevency! Besides Bourdais I honestly can't name another driver!
F1 and IRL a little tougher call! If your asking which series has more prestige, stability, faster cars, more technology and brighter future its clearly F1.
If your asking which series has better on the track racing you could argue IRL (Races at Texas are very entertaining!)

If you took the best team of each series and the three raced on a road course, they would finish like this: F1, way out in front, then CART then IRL.

That is sort of a hard question to answer. But I would have to say having seen the three of them F1 seems to have the all around better car. All three are scary fast though so I don't want to take away from the other two.

All are auto racing, but to devoted fans of each catagory, you are comparing apple to oranges.
