why did he get upset?
this guy iam coworkers with and acquitances/friends with got upset when i said not all babies are cute in my opinion, i also said i wanted to adopt and not a have a baby of my own, he got upset when i told him that as well and he said why i woudlnt want to have a kid and i told him its b/c the process of having a kid is nasty and he said it's nature, but why did he get soo upset?
i just turned 20 and he's going to be 25 soon, he said all babies are cute -but just b/c i think different he got mad, what gives?
he got disappointed more than anything , he didnt get mad, but he tried to open my eyes about having babies..

he has a gf my age and shes def. not thinking of having babies right now, but she wants them in the future

I agree all babies are NOT cute..They are cute in a baby way but not cute in the meaning of the word...I have three kids and I have seen some pretty weird looking babies...
Maybe it was because he likes you amd was "disappointed" to see you didn't share his feelings on babies and children

I think alot of girls feel the same way about giving birth. I did actually, but as I get older (I am now 26) I don't feel as sickened by it as I used to... just give it time. I do applaud you for saying you want to adopt.. there are many children out there that need good loving homes. It just sounds like you two have different opinions and you need to work that out. If he really wants to have his own child and you do not, I would say just give it time.. you may feel different in the future..for now you are still young!

thats probably because he wants to have a baby and the older and more mature you get the more precious babies seem. Most women around your age have the same opinion as you do but as you get older it more likely will chage. He's more mature than you and is probably thinking of having a baby. He also might think you'd make a great mother...or maybe he wants to make babies with you? lol good luck with that

He probably thought you were closed-minded about the topic.
If you were really concerned about his opinion, you could approach it from another angle. You could tell him that there are so many wonderful children out there that need good homes, that it would not be morally right for you to have a child. My wife and I want to adopt, by the way.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but not only is the process of giving birth gross, so is raising a child.
Back to the point. He got upset because he likes you and in his mind, views you as a possible mother to his yet unborn child.
What he needs to do is relax and let you grow up.

Sounds like he was frustrated with your opinions of childbirth and babies. Maybe he liked you and just realized you are not for him. It can crush a person to discover vast differences in their friends. I say do not talk about this subject around or with him anymore and try to just be freinds again.

He isn't capable of accepting others opinions and ideals. He needs to learn that he cannot change others opinions to what he believes in. It is childish to get upset about it. But he could see you as being selfish and not open to the idea of what human nature has to offer. He could see it as shallow.

People don't like it when you disagree with them. He probably is one of those people who thinks the main thing a woman to do is make babies. He has the right to his opinion, but so do you.

Sounds like he likes you and would potentially like to have his own babies with you. There could be a number of different reasons as to why. I think you should sit down with him and discuss it....It seems to be very important to him. Best of luck!

Sounds like he likes you and wants to have kids eventually. Because of your not wanting to have kids, he feels there is now a rift between the possibility of you two getting together. I mean, you don't want to get involved with someone who doesn't want to have kids if you do! (and visa-versa of course)
