What is your idea of PROSPERITY?

It can mean many different things and on many different levels. If you could create prosperity with a few shakes of a magic wand, what would you create in your world?

Our family toast is "Health, wealth and happiness"
What it means is being healthy enough to earn enough money to make us happy because being happy keeps you healthy and being happy enough to realise you don't need money to BE happy. That is true prosperity.

Prosperity in the "real world" is made up of
nothing more than vibrating energy. We now know
that each person creates their own version of the world
based on their beliefs, expectations, and personal history.

So your personal "prosperity" is determined by what
you imagine, visualize, desire - OR fear and reject.
We now know beyond a doubt that everything in the
known universe -- from the 'physical' world, to our
innermost thoughts -- is basically energy in motion.

Actually our inner 'mental' reality and the world's
'outer' reality are an intimately interwoven quantum
event. We are participants in an open and dynamic
living universe. And we are actually living in two
side-by-side overlapping worlds. Each image of the "outside world" forms and changes
your brain on a physical level. From these images our
minds then construct what we call "reality." But there's something very important to be learned
from that! Neuroscientists have found clear evidence
that emotion strengthens the neural pathway holding
any memory or thought. Emotion can be a powerful ally in reprogramming
your mind!

There are people throughout the world that are very happy, in spite of difficult or tragic experiences which many of us have suffered, and that in itself is such a great accomplishment, sometimes; but prosperity, as you say, "...can mean many different things and on many different levels." Your social level has its own sense of "prosperity": So many leave their surroundings for "lesser" surroundings so to then be a "big fish in a small pond"; but if Toulouse-Lautrec hadn't been made to feel like a such an accident-prone, ugly disgrace to his aristocratic family of beautiful people and made to feel that he would be better off hanging around low-life drunks and prostitutes, would we then just have more great paintings of sardonic and stuffy aristocrats of that era? Oh, well, then, because If I had that elusive wand I would shake it around and then there would be less pride and predjudice in the world and that would trickle down to how and where you felt prosperous.

No good talking of spiritual matters when half the world is starving, so with my magic wand my first job would be to house, clothe, feed and educate the hungry - when you have a full belly, then you can look up to God! Perhaps I would create a CONSCIENCE in every human being - result - end of poverty, end to wars etc.
