Are you speaking in terms of using it's field of gravity as a sort of slingshot effect similar to how we use planet and moon gravity to change the velocity and direction of a satellite?

The time spent travelling towards the black hole, around it, and back would not make it even remotely worthy of consideration.

Why do people believe that you can travel into a black hole and come out in some mysterious other place????

During your time travels, you will probably have "time" to let me know how many times you can travel into and out of a ball before you finally realize that it's a ball.

No!!!! It is a reasonable assumption that time and space is relative (Einstein). If that is true then time travel would only be possible for the local Regine in space. However, other new theories indicate that a black hole is no more than a puncture in time space, and that would mean that nothing could or would survive; including time or space. Everything would revert back to the singularity. Imagine, if you will, a giant vacuum bag. there is a bunch of dust, dirt, and debre flying about everywhere. All of sudden there is a little pin hole puncture. For the most part everything still works just fine, but anything close to that puncture hole would still be sucked out due to the vacuum that exists. That is how Steven Hawkins describes it.

YES, it is possible for a Black Hole to exist.

NO, it is not possible to utilize a Black Hole for travel
from one planet to another. At this time our theories
regarding Black Holes indicates that anything getting
within the reach of a Black Hole's gravitational pull
is sucked right into the core of the Black Hole and
reduced to the smallest, smallest possible mass.
Thus, if somehow you were able to travel to one, it
would be a one way trip with a very bad ending. All
Black Holes exhibit extremely intense radiation
emission. So in the process of being compressed
into a microdot, you would also be irradiated to
extreme levels and reduced to ash. This might not
work out well for use by tomorrows space travelers.

This is a popular theme in science fiction, but actual scientists don't know what happens inside black holes. This is because gravity remains undefined in terms of the four other fundamental physical forces in the universe. Because of this, ordinary physics calculations are impossible to solve when applied to the amount of gravity black holes generate.

Einstein said all the objects in the universe exist on a surface of space/time. This surface is stretched by gravity and the earth can be thought of traveling around the rim of a depression in space time created by the enormous mass of the sun. A black hole would make a very deep depression, but nobody knows if it would actually break through the space/time surface.

Extraordinary objects known as "wormholes" have been theoretically proposed, however. They are open holes in the surface of space time and might be used to travel both backward and foreward in time. Nobody has any evidence such exotic objects exist, but if they did, then time travel might be possible.

You know, I've read 8 big books and lots of other sources for this subject.
I have came to a conclusion that Black holes, worm holes, and white holes must all exist together. Since by Law we know that matter can not be destroyed....now this never says it can't change forms.
I believe when a black hole sucks matter in, in somehow must send it out.
Maybe to another Galaxy, or to far far away from where the actual opening is.

No, a black hole isn't a "hole," it's a planet that you can't see because the light cannot escape from that area and reach our telescopes to show us what is there.
We see what looks like a hole because light surrounds it. This is called the event horizon, it is sort of the max range that the gravity of that black hole can pull light in. Light beyond the event horizon is able to escape from the gravitational pull.

not that i know of.
as far as i am aware, black holes are just the immensely strong gravitational force from a small, dense "object" /planet/dead star/ space material...
i dont see how one could travel through it spacially and live.
as for time travel, you can only travel forward in time on a really fast spacecraft approching the speed of light. which im pretty sure is impossible due to the physical limitations of the human body.
HOWEVER, time travel would be really cool.

That's a worm hole you're thinking of, which we haven't seen conclusive evidence of. A black hole is just a space with the absence of matter.

I DON'T NO. I NO THERE R BLACK HOLES BUT I DON'T NO IF THEY DO THAT OR NOT. IF THEY DID THAT BE SO COOL. I THINK PEOPLE R SCARED 2 GO INTO 1 BECAUSE THEY MIGHT NEVER COME BACK OUT BUT WHO CARES. RIGHT LOL
