She needs antibiotics. Take her to the doctor.

Oh, and tell her not to rub her infected eye and then rub her other eye. She'll get pinkeye in both eyes. Yes, I did this.

nothing will make it clear up right a way. it takes a few days usually. my daughter gives me pink eye all the time, here is what i do...

1) sanitize like crazy. get the purell hand sanitizer, use it on hands and eye area (not right in your eyes though, it burns) several times a day. this will stop the infection from spreading or re-infecting. otherwise do not touch eyes or face at all (no rubbing no matter how bad it itches/burns).

2) if it's really bad (i.e. really crusty) you'll have to see a doctor. there aren't any over the counter treatments for pink eye. they'll just prescribe drops or a gel to put in eyes, clears up after a few days.

There is nothing over the counter you can do or get. You need to take her to the dr to get something if you want, its highly contagious too... if you choose not to go to the dr, then just leave it alone, cause if you put anything on it that should not be on it, it will make it worse. I have had a couple in my lifetime, and I just let them work itself out, keep your hands away from it, and rinse when in the shower. If this is a baby girl, young little girl, then I would take her to the dr, cause she will not understand all that I have said. Good Luck!

Go to the doctor and get some antibiotic drops! That is the only thing that works because pink eye is so highly contagious, not to mention absolutely miserable. Don't rub your eyes even if you haven't been near her because you'll get it too.

OK! 2 years ago that happen to me. Go to the doctor and have her get a checkup. The doctors will give some eye drops and just in case if she has allergies they will give her bag w/ filled w/ Clariton Allergy Relief Medicine just in case, but they will give eye drops or a prescription for you to buy at the drug store.

Neosporine is the answer. Wash your hands well, before and after. Don't use the cream, just the jell. Put it in and around her eye. Her eyesight might be blurry, but it will kill the bacteria. I just treated my boyfriend that had a stye. He's okay now. See a Dr. Good luck. :)

Hey I have an answer you might have tried , But I thought I would tell you.

Try eye drops, if that dosent work, use the lavender Eye masks. Anything cold on the face may work as well.

Hope this works!

Find a Walmart or Walgreens and purchase a product for pink eye - there are several "over-the-counter" products out there.

Those eyes drops from the Ben Stein commericals called "Clear Eyes" do the trick.
