I am not large and don't intend to ever get that way, but I hear all of the time that women get married and then blow up - how many men have experienced this? Did it effect your love? Cause trouble in your marriage?

1)When she is on-top during sex my eyes pop out of my head.
2) She stares at my plate instead of my eyes.
3) The AC is on even during the winter.
4) We can no longer purchase a 2 seat sports car.
Thats just a few things...but I must say I still love her the same :0

Hasn't cause me any trouble, granted she only gained maybe 10 pounds, but still looks great! just a little bit in the tummy area. I don't think it has anything to do with getting married. It could be stress, perhaps more women than not, subconsiously feel they no longer need to concentrate all their power into keeping the weight off now that they are in love.

The only trouble it causes for me is hearing her say "I'm fat" and me getting mad at her becasue she really isn't and still looks great. I wish she would just feel good about herself and her body. That confidence goes along way. That lack of confidence is probably what is effecting her level of intamacy anymore.

Yanno, I hear men say this, too. My husband would not, nonetheless lol. i'm way thinner now than in the previous we've been given married and for some fortunate reason i did not get stretch marks in the process being pregnant. I truly artwork out and when I do, it is extra like yoga. My husband has gained a sprint (i don't be conscious it) yet he continually brings it up. i certainly like his length. i think of frequently while a extra physically powerful half constructive properties weight, the two considered one of them are gaining it together. it is for sure the stuff the prepare dinner and devour , so how can it is in basic terms the spouse? i don't purchase that for a minute. i comprehend that after i'm 50 i will relatively benefit some weight and get some wrinkles. If my husband in basic terms married me because of fact i'm skinny and gown great, than he would be in for a marvel because of fact every person gets previous. people exchange, seems exchange. it is life. If a spouse gets fat, her husband in all probability have been given fat, too.

It has not caused any trouble because my wife's weight gain since marrying me 21 years ago has been minimal. I am so lucky to have such a fit, attractive wife after all these years! Believe me, I truly appreciate how much she works out and how much effort she puts into staying healthy. I have read many stories like the one in your question, and I'm glad I have, because it makes me appreciate what I have all the more.

I gained 80 pounds with my son. I carried alot of water and it wasnt good. I lost 30 of it the day I had my son. I still carry 50lbs of babyfat. It really effected my marriage because I got so caught up in working and taking care of my son and husband that I didnt think about me. Now I am in control of me and I am loosing that baby weight by working out everyday for an hour and I am counting calories and eating healthy. My hubby loves that I am starting to take care of myself and love myself and our marriage is much more better.

I got married, had a beautiful child and I'm still slim and fit, actually better than I was;) those who blow up after getting married shouldn't blame their husbands, it's their fault: a woman, especially if not single, should ALWAYS take care of herself and keep in a good shape, working out, not only for herself but for her man too.

Come on boys I'm waiting to hear who weighs in. How come women never ask about this about their men? I see guys all the time that blow up after they get married. Both my husbands did. I never once thought to say anything to them. Though they both said something to me. Is it because women can love unconditionally but men can't?

Been married 24 years, we've both gained some weight and we are still "going at it" like we did 20 years ago.

She quit being intimate with me claiming that she wasn't sexy anymore, i tried to convince her that obviously wasn't the case but she never believed me....it really ruined our relationship as no matter what I said she had a low self esteem and wouldn't do anything about her weight issues....i supported her in all her diets and everything but nothing ever worked...
