I do indeed give the guy respect.
If you able to throw 100+ yards in every game while playing for the worst team in the NFL, you are one good QB. Not to mention the Lions did not have a good D or O-Line.
Also, don't forget that he also taught Carson Palmer to be the player he is today. Without him, Palmer would be nothing.
I give him grats to what he's done, but did it help improve the Lions? I do not think so.

Do you mean Jon Kitna? He has worked with some great coaches and he has had some horrible Offensive Line play during his career. When he has time he can make the throws, he's not very athletic, but has good pocket presence. He finally has some talented receivers in Detroit and if they can give him protection and establish a running game he will do well. He does not play well as a come from behind quarterback, but if they can establish a lead or stay close he will always do well.
Jon is a devout Christian and always finds time to help out in whichever community he resides he is not only a talented NFL quarterback, but he is a really great family guy.
Who Dey!

Kitna is an adequate starter and a great backup. No reason to respect him as a QB other than as those two things. He played in Mike Martz's pass-happy system on a team that was usually behind in every game. That called for him to pass the ball even MORE. Logic would dictate that he was sacked so many times because he was dropping back to pass so many times, which also led to his 4200 yards. Kitna is a great backup, but don't be suprised if Stanton takes over midway through the season.

When Kitna was a Bengal he was respected more in many ways. When Kitna joined Detroit everybody thought the lions would begin a new start. Everybody thought they were a playoff team because of their new off-season moves and putting Harrington behind Kitna.
Unfortunately Kitna did not live up to his expectations and the fans did not appreciate any of his skills and the teams effort. This year Kitna said the lions "....are going to win 10 games of more...."The faithful fans are now regaining belief in their quarterback and their new first round draft pick.

How can anyone respect an insane man. Isn't Kitna the fool that said Detroit was going to have a winning season this year?

I tried to love him, I even had him as my starter on FB last season, but he throws to many int's and not enough TD which lowers his stock and caused me to lose one week and I barley won the next, thank god for Marion Barber, anyway sorry buddy.

I guess I'll never know, EVER................ I guess that he has to resurrect JESUS again and start Revelations or something.
They all seem to think. LAST YEAR, is this year. But guess what............................ It is never the same........................
My grandfather told me a story when I was young boy while fishing with him one day though, this definitely is a story that applies here.................
There is no use in trying to figure out what a fool thinks..
For he doesn't know what he believes in the first place...........
So how are you supposed to figure out what he thinks when he does not have a clue in the first place??????????????
