Doesn't it bother you that people and even CHILDREN in third world countries are working in sweatshops for places like Walmart. They are LOCKED in a room or are FENCED IN and HAVE to work. With no air conditioning or any kind or ventilation. And are payed LESS then a US dollar to work hard for HOURS. What they are are basically slaves!!! This is wrong!!! Ever wonder why Walmart is so cheap? Because they have people who live in other countries that work for nearly nothing. They live in terrible conditions and have SMALL childeren that have to work with them just to keep living there. Doesn' t this bother you people? Please star this question if you do think it is wrong. So people will be more willing to read this.

Yes it bothers me but what bothers me more is that these countries allow their children to be used in this way. I won't give you a star because for some reason I believe that is what you are looking for.

It does. I don't think Walmart is cheap. Best Buy is cheaper for electronics, JcPenny, Kohls and Target are cheaper to buy clothes and have better sales, Food oMG I went to Walmart for the first time in months and my little tiny local Grocer is cheaper to shop at for food then Walmart. Walmart is selling a gallon of milk my little IGA is selling it for 3.89.

Its terrible, terrible, terrible for both sides meaning (U.S. and other nations). They can't sufficiently build their country to compete in the world and it has taken a plethora of jobs any from U.S. citizens, who would force the government to pay what equal to the job.

Sorry, doesn't bother me.

What is "nearly nothing" to us, could be a weeks worth of food for these people.

It bothers me A LOT! I refuse to shop at Walmart, and avoid buying goods from China or any other country with slave- labor practices.

Of course sweat shops and child labor are bothersome, but what really can we do about it? :( The government can be heartless sometimes.
